Welcome to The Mooring Post Treasure Hunt Contest (“Contest”). Please read these official rules carefully before participating. By entering the Contest, you agree to abide by these rules.
1. Eligibility
- The Contest is open to individuals who are at least 13 years old at the time of entry.
- Participants under the age of 16 must have parental or legal guardian consent to enter.
- Employees of The Mooring Post, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected to the Contest are not eligible to participate.
2. Contest Period
The Contest will run on dates specified on The Mooring Post website. Entries submitted before or after the designated Contest period will not be eligible.
3. How to Enter
- No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
- Participants must locate the Easter Egg hidden on The Mooring Post website.
- Once found, participants must follow the on-screen instructions to submit the Easter Egg code through the designated entry form.
4. Entry Limit
Each participant may submit one entry per Contest period unless otherwise stated. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
5. Winner Selection
- The first participant to correctly submit the Treasure code will be declared the winner, or winners will be selected at random if multiple correct entries are received simultaneously.
- Winners will be notified via the contact information provided in their entry form within 7 days of the end of the Contest period.
6. Prizes
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.
- The Mooring Post reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if necessary.
7. General Rules
- By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless The Mooring Post, its affiliates, and partners from any liability, injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the Contest or acceptance of any prize.
- The Mooring Post reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these rules or engages in disruptive, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior.
- By entering the Contest, participants grant The Mooring Post permission to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
- The Mooring Post reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest at any time for any reason.
8. Privacy
Any personal information collected during entry will be used solely for administering the Contest and will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
The Contest is governed by the laws of the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. Any disputes arising from this Contest shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Nova Scotia.
